Auraria Talent Show

Josh the Magic Man performs the opening act in the Auria Campus Talent Show. A week prior to the event, the talent show coordinator had contacted JMM after hearing about his great talent. He was asked to perform at the talent show and was told that he would not have to audition after what the coordinator had seen him do live and the content of his website. For quite sometime now, JMM has been walking up and down the downtown Auraria campus, sharing his skills with as many people as he could. One of these people happened to be one of the people who worked in the student activities office at the school.

The night featured 15 acts ranging from hip hop dancing, guitar and piano artist, and spoken word pieces. JMM was the only one that had performed a "magic act." JMM was asked to open the night by being the first act of the show. In his 5 minute time span he performed "The Bottles Trick" which still astounded people after the show. He did not win the $100 1st place prize but is definitely in the planning for another big stage show just like the one he did back in December of '08. Details soon to come!
